Good evening Whitesharks!

I would like to Congratulate our All-Stars and Ponderosa Swimmers!

At All-Stars we came in 2^nd place as a team!!! 

We had lots of swimmer earning High Point Awards for their age groups.  Congratulations to Payten Dillion, Brenna Barnes, Cameron Samonte and Dryden Doan.

At Ponderosa we also come in 2^nd Place for a Medium Size Team.

I would also like to Congratulate Rowan McWhorter for earning High Point for her age group at Ponderosa.

The end of the season is super busy, so we completely understand forgetting or not having time to pay invitational fees. 

Payments can be submitted via Zelle treasurer@worthamwhitesharks.com. Or checks can be mailed directly to me at 12915 Lake Parc Bend Drive, Cypress, TX 77429.

If any committee member have receipts please turn them in by July 4^th as well.

The 4th Annual Wortham Arts & Crafts Fair this year at the clubhouse and grounds on Saturday, October 14 from 9am - 3pm 

Members of the community get to sell their crafts to their neighborhood! You can sell baked goods, crafts, jewelry and more! We should have a bounce house on site as well as pumpkin painting for the children. This is a fun event to bring the community together and supports the Whitesharks.

If you are interested in participating, there are 10x10 booths outside and 10x6 booths inside. Each booth is $25. Tents can be rented for $10 and there are tables and chairs at a first come first serve basis. The proceeds from the fair will go to the Wortham Whitesharks. All applications are due by September 22, 2023. Please contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions or are interested in an application.

Finally, I was not able to share at the End of Season Party that it has been a pleasure and honor to service as President and Vice President. I truly think of the Whitesharks as family. It a tradition in our family that April-June we dedicated to the team. That includes the kids, Rob and myself. Each year I am sad to see the season end, but I know the season will shortly begin again in the Spring. Thank you again for everything, and I will definitely see you at the pool next year.
